We
are a strong believer in the fact that dogs and cats
have absolutely no biological requirement for grains
- those "filler grains"
found in almost all mass-marketed national brand foods. Wheat
and corn (and soy) are dominant ingredients in many pet
foods in use today. However, these are poorly digestible
and are little better than inexpensive fillers. In
addition, wheat can become moldy before it is diverted
from human consumption into "pet-grade" use. Modern corn
may be genetically "enhanced". Both ingredients contain
gluten, a hard-to-digest protein that may produce health
problems in some animals.
Soggy
Paws
features a variety of retail
products for both dogs and cats. We do not
believe that you have to sacrifice quality for
affordability. All of the foods we carry use
high-quality, human-grade meats as one of the
first ingredients and use no refined sugars,
artificial flavors or chemical preservatives.

ARE
YOU FEEDING
YOUR DOG BENEFUL® or PEDIGREE® ?
Want to know why it's such a
"good deal" at Target and/or Costco?
You can do better for your dog.
We can help you save money, have less
poop, a much
healthier skin, coat and immune system, and
probably a longer life for your dog.
There have been apparent formula
changes in Timberwolf foods. The company
says no..that they just realized that they had
"missed" some ingredients. (On every
one of their package labels?) We're not sure we agree.
Click to see our Timberwolf Then and Now label
audit that we did with the new labels versus
the old labels. You will be able to see
the differences and decide for yourselves.
Chicken Fat now appears in every
food where it didn't before. Some items have had
minor changes (probably due to labeling
requirements...such as the change from "potato"
to "dried potato product.") But there is an
obvious addition of salt as an ingredient and
the addition of Brown Rice..which questions to
the company about have gone unanswered.
Soggy Paws has discontinued
stocking Timberwolf. We absolutely can
still order it for you if you wish. But if you
would like to consider a change, please
contact us about transitioning your dog to a new
brand.
100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE Soggy Paws guarantees that your pet will love his or
her new food. If s/he doesn't, simply bring it back to
