We ship via UPS. Pricing is based on item weight, so we can afford to give you great prices on even greater merchandise.
Shipping costs are calculated from the exact weight of your package and contents. We do not levy a handling charge; what you pay is what we pay.
We ship orders Monday - Friday. If you place an order on a weekend day or national holiday it will be processed and shipped the next business day

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
We happily accept returns of unused items. They must be postmarked within 10 days of receiving the item. Please contact us prior to returning an item with the reason for the return so that we can expect it and issue a credit upon receipt. Send items back in their original packaging and in the original condition. All sales on sale items, personalized items and perishables are final. Special order deposits are non-refundable. Shipping and handling is not refundable.

Sales tax (6.25%) will be added to orders placed for Illinois customers only.
PAYMENT METHODS
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Credit card accounts are billed at the time of shipment. For best service, please include a daytime telephone number in case there are questions pertaining to your order.
ITEM AVAILABILITY
As an independent neighborhood store, we do not stock large quantities of most items... we simply don't have the space. Because our website does not have real-time inventory controls, and products are also being sold in our store, it's possible that some items may be out of stock when you order. We try to keep the site updated so this doesn't happen, but it is a possibility from time to time, especially during busy periods.
Should we be out of stock, we will contact you to confirm if you want to 1) make a substitution, 2) receive a refund for the difference, or 3) wait for your shipment until we can fill your complete order. If you would like to check item availability before placing an order, please call the store at 312-808-0768 between 11am and 7pm, Mon-Fri; 9am to 6pm, Saturday; and 10a to 5pm Sunday, Central Time.

When you purchase from our online store, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. You provide this information so we can process and ship your order in a timely manner. We gladly respect your privacy by not selling or sharing this information.
